Welcome to the Race 2 Rome Information Page
How to create your Just Giving page and link to the Team page.
Thank you for signing up for the Race 2 Rome challenge. If you haven’t yet, then sign up here to change that. Below, you will find more info on how the challenge will work. One of the first things to do is create your JustGiving page and link it to the Race2Rome Fundraising page. The video to the left shows you how to do this.

The key part of the challenge is using a bike to log the miles done each day. Your club/school might have access to static bikes, if so make sure you arrange to have access to them from 28th Feb to 8th March.
But don’t worry if you can’t get access to a static bike. There are other options for getting involved. Have a look below at the options.
-
If your team doesn’t have a static bike, try asking your local sports centre if they have bikes that you could use as part of the challenge. Leisure facilities often have studio rooms for cycling classes that are not always used; you could perhaps agree to get access for the days needed when the bikes are available.
Or, if you have bike friends, you can set up a Strava group and log your miles on the road as a team. (see below for more info)
-
You might want to log the miles you cycle out on the road with a group of friends as a way to take part in the challenge. You can set up a Strava Group Challenge on you mobile Strava App.
More info can be found here.

The easiest solution is to log in to Just Giving and then add your team to the fundraising page set up for this challenge. The link is above and there is a video to show you the steps you need.
You just then need to share you fundraising page and get on the bike. Use the update function to tell us how far you have managed each day.
You don’t have to get people to donate only using the Just Giving page, if you raise fund through collections, you can add the money via the offline functions in Just Giving.
