Bio:
Born and bred in North Wales, I’m lucky enough to still call this beautiful part of the world home. I work as a GP in the local town of Denbigh, right in the heart of the stunning Vale of Clwyd. Our three gorgeous girls have now flown the nest for university, leaving me and my equally gorgeous (and very long-suffering) wife, Nicky, to hold the fort.
Through my work, I see firsthand the devastation that Motor Neurone Disease brings to individuals and families. So when the opportunity arose to take part in Doddie Aid, I knew it was something I wanted—and needed—to support. Being a lifelong cycling enthusiast and rugby fan certainly helped steer me in the right direction.
Sporting or Endurance Achievements and Notable Charitable Events:
I’m proud to be taking part in my fourth Doddie Aid event. For me, it’s about teamwork, camaraderie, making memories, education and engaging communities—while standing alongside today’s MND warriors and helping drive the search for treatments and, one day, cures. Every mile brings us closer to that goal.
Interests & Hobbies:
Cycling, Rugby, surfing and snowboarding and looking after our two gorgeous cocker spaniels.
